Deasy has been active in development of interactive educational software
since 1992, when we consulted with GeoSystems Global Corp. in the
design and production of a set of
"multimedia maps" for the New
Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia. Since then we have developed a series of
for several courses offered by Penn State's
College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. In 1995 the Lab was sponsored
by John Wiley and Sons publishers to create a
CD-ROM-based set of laboratory exercises
for students of introductory physical geography.
We continue to collaborate with Wiley and other publishers in software
development projects for geographic and earth science education.
