Deasy GeoGraphics: Educational Software
[Educational Software] [Deasy GeoGraphics]
Deasy has been active in development of interactive educational software since 1992, when we consulted with GeoSystems Global Corp. in the design and production of a set of "multimedia maps" for the New Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia. Since then we have developed a series of "lectureware" resources for several courses offered by Penn State's College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. In 1995 the Lab was sponsored by John Wiley and Sons publishers to create a CD-ROM-based set of laboratory exercises for students of introductory physical geography. We continue to collaborate with Wiley and other publishers in software development projects for geographic and earth science education. [New Media Labs] [New Media Labs]
